CTS Training

CTS Training are my largest, and most exciting freelance client. A multi-million pound national training organisation, CTS Training work in two main areas. Their work based learning arm helps those who are currently in employment to increase their skills, and gain nationally recoginsed qualifications with superb on the job training. They are also responsible for helping to get young Apprentices into a work based environment to help to give them valuable experience and work place skills. On the other side of the business, they specialise in giving the disenfranchised and long term unemployed help and support to get them in, or back in, to the work place, giving them all the necessary help and support that they need to acheive their goals.

They came to Deadcow Design after thet were let down by a previous web developer and were naturally slightly suspicious of trusting another freelancer. However, working closely with them to ensure that, together, we reached the solutions that they needed, we have since built a lasting and strong relationship.

I have designed a wealth of printed marketing material for them, the broad nature, and wide demographic making them an interesting and challenging client to work with. I am also responsible for their online presence, creating a clean and corporate website for them, with custom content management systems driven with PHP, Javascript and XML. I am currently in the process of developing the second iteration of their website. A much larger and more complete web presence, including full database driven content management systems, custom blog-style news systems, sophisticated job management and application system, flexible page templating, targeted email marketing and custom events calendar.
